Time on cruise ships has been a large part of my travel experience. I enjoy the wide open ocean and the dark night sky.
In November 2010 I took my first transatlantic cruise from Venice to New York City. The ship encountered a major storm in the North Atlantic. While the ship’s captain attempted to outrun the storm, the ship was hit hard. Waves hit the 13th floor windows. It was almost three days of rough sea and large waves. I like a good roller coaster.
